After several years of renting various expensive commercial size tillers for jobs around the house, I decided to purchase something for my weekly gardening chores. This tiller did not dissapoint as it works great for all my gardening, especially in smaller tight spaces within the beds around my house. Not to mention it is very easy to store in my garage taking up little to no space. After replanting in several of my beds this spring I decided to test out the Sun Joe Tiller on some dry, harder dirt in my lawn as several areas needed reseeding. Once again, the tiller came through despite the hard surface. I was able to reseed and they dead spots in my lawn are now starting to fill in thanks to the help of my new tiller. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone based on its performance and low price relative to other products on the market. I've looked online at some of the other Sun Joe products and am contemplating making some other purchases since this one has been so reliable. Thanks Sun Joe!

I actually bought this about 6 years ago to mow my little condo yard. I was leary, as it looked like something Great Grampa might have used, but it's been extremely handy over the years. Now that I have a yard of my own I use it all the time to get into tight places where I don't want to wrestle with my gas mower. The construction is all steel, very sturdy. Just don't try to use it on very high (over 4 inches) grass, or where there's a lot of twigs; it will get bogged down and you'll get frustrated fast! But if you're keeping up with the grass, and you use it in small areas, it works great!

The Worx WG112 is a great little trimmer ... for a small area, anyway. I have a small yard and need to trim around 3 flower beds / garden areas and around my steps. This trimmer is perfect for that small area. No gas engine, so it's very quiet. And it's cheap! I couldn't find replacement line spools for it at amazon, but Sears has them for less than . So, if you have a small area to keep trimmed, get the WG112.

I've just bought my first house and the yard was finally long enough to need a cut this weekend.
We have a pretty small lot, maybe 1/4 acre, and the backyard had almost no grass because of the way it was landscaped. I decided that I didn't need a big self-propelled mower, and originally through maybe I'd get a reel mower before I decided that keeping the blades in shape would be too much of a bother.
I did a little research and found that the MM875 had excellent reviews here on Amazon. This one, the MM1800, had no reviews, but from everything I see it's exactly the same but with a slightly narrower cutting diameter.
I ended up picking it up from Lowes, and then made another trip back after realizing that my extension cord was only 25' and not quite enough for my hard.
The mower is really very light and easy to set up in about 5 minutes. Starting it up is as easy as pulling the lever up against the handle, which I love because growing up, my dad's mower took 50 pulls to get it going.
The mower is very easy to push, and has an adjustable handle for different height preferences. The adjustment for the cutting height is also very well done, where you just have to move a single lever on one of the back wheels and it takes care of the whole mower.
I used the mower on mulching mode and didn't notice any piles of clippings anywhere; they were very very fine and evenly distributed. I have not tried the bag yet.
The only possible negative that I can bring up after this first mow is the cord, which is something that you should have gone into purchasing this mower knowing. I always used to mow the lawn twice around in a circle, then cut a diagonal down the center, and then follow that diagonal back and forth each direction. With the cord, this technique left me having to stop and adjust the cord a lot near the end of my mowing. In the future, I will do the two laps and then simply start at one end (either diagonally or horizontally) and mow progressively away from the outlet.
Pros:
No need for gas, and no battery to wear out
Quiet, compared to most gas mowers
Easy to push, comfortable to hold, very little vibrations in the handle
Easy to adjust the cutting height
Easy to turn on/start
Cons:
Cord can get in the way if you don't plan your cutting pattern

I purchased this cover when I replaced my 15-yr-old John Deere riding mower with a new one. It's been six months since I got it, and so far I'm very happy with it. It fits the mower beautifully, holds tightly even on the windiest days, and keeps my mower clean and dry. Even though it's in the carport, dust, dirt and rain blow in, so this cover is the perfect solution.
